How To Drive The Click!
Let’s take a look at what you need to do to drive that all important click. Use these PortalFeeder bonus tips and watch an improvement in your click through ratio.
1. Use the keyword phrase in the url. If it’s not available use dashes but get it as close to the phrase as possible.
2. Your title should display the main keyword phrase prominently. Mention it first.
3. Your username should also be your keyword phrase if possible and if not, as close to it as possible.
4. Visitors should be given the option to leave your page within the very first paragraph of content. This is not because you content is bad, it shouldn’t be but as mentioned earlier, there are reasons why someone will be on your site and if you lure them there with a buying key phrase well enough said.
5. Use an image and make sure it’s clickable. This can take them to either your affiliate offer or another web 2 property or your own site. But make sure when they get there they get the same option, to leave early.
6. When you can, drive attention to the click. This can be in the form of big bold blue letters, arrows or an image designed to get the visitor’s attention that if they click here, the solution to their problem is on the other side.
