As one of the leading industries today, Internet marketing has come a long way from its early days when it wasn’t taken too seriously. Now, it is being used with great success by some of the more successful Internet marketers today.

You can pay for materials by gurus like Frank Kern or Ken Evoy, or you can start out by reading and browsing the Internet for free materials that can help you. Blogs are a good way to be kept up to date, since they not only provide great reading material, but also give you links to products and videos that can help you grow as an Internet marketer.

Learning the basics is easy, but to become an expert marketer, you’d need to know the inner workings of the business, and also tips and tricks to make your job easier. And despite the feeling that they may cost a lot, there are marketing secrets and Internet marketing myths to learn that are free. If you are a dogged searcher, you may find several products that are free which would normally cost you a great deal. They say you get what you pay for, but sometimes lady luck smiles on you and throws you a bone. Frank Kern’s 4-Day Cash Machine is one such example.

You’ve probably noticed I’ve mentioned Frank Kern a couple of times now. You see, I am a huge fan and I’ve been following his work for some time now. Most of what I know comes from him. From his products and blog, I’ve learned a lot, so I naturally point others to learn from him as well. Recently, I’ve come across one Frank Kern’s List Control videos and learned a lot. It’s free and is chock full of information you’d normally have to pay for. You can check it out for yourself and see what you can learn from it.

Being a huge fan of Frank, doesn’t mean I don’t learn from other gurus like Ken Evoy or Marlon Sanders. You see, learning from only one can be enough, but to learn from several is better. Each guru has their own style, they have their own tools and products. Try to learn all about other gurus and learn what you can from each of them. After you’ve managed to choose which style suits your own, try to create your own style. Then, you are on your way to becoming a guru yourself.
