The hand-held receiver can be used separately or in combination with the PDA for map display. Despite the double gadget inconvenience, the combination is very useful for anyone who doesn’t afford something more sophisticated. Otherwise, the combined unit that has a full featured Pocket PC and an incorporated GPS device is a great combination of GPS hardware, mapping applications and Windows Mobile software. This is in fact the pocket PC GPS unit of the future.
